The metal lid is silverplate as well. This genuine lead crystal pocket flask is heavy for it's size. Lesser quality flasks utilize a screw on cap. High quality flasks like this use a domed mushroom shaped cap top that rotates within a ring collar that is connected to the top half of the 5 pronged hinge. The silver cap rotates clockwise to close and counter clockwise to open.
The top stays in the closed position, held in place by the prong on the top front of the bottle lip that fit into one of the two corresponding slots in the rotating top cap. (The last picture shows the fabulous collection of flasks currently listed in our shop). Size It is 6 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" wide. Condition In beautiful condition, with only minor age wear. PLEASE be sure and look at all the pictures so you can see for yourself the condition as most of our items are old and therefore subject to minor age wear.
