Antique Hand Blown Silver Plate and Amethyst Flash Glass Rimmed Soup Bowls. The is a beautiful and unique set of 11 bowls in very good condition with no chips or cracks on any of them. There is light scratching from age and use and some have a little scratching on the amethyst flash. They're are made of a leaded glass that's hand blown and they each weigh 1 lb. They're rimmed with a thin silver-plated metal rim that's been embossed with a wreath of grapes and leaves.

The amethyst flash is about 1 thick. The inner rim also has a silver-plated circle which I also think is a very thin metal coating, though it may also be painted on. They're 1 1/4" high and 9" in diameter.

Unfortunately I was unable to find anything about them on the internet, so I'm no sure where they were made or who made them. Not all plates are pictured individually but they're all about the same. Two do have a little more scratching in the center of bowl than the others.
