Gorgeous pair of hand-painted salt and pepper shakers, and a sugar server from the Victorian era, late 1800s in a silver-plated stand made by the Toronto Silver plate Company. Painted flower and leaf decoration, over a peach colored background on white opaque milk glass. The stand is silver-plated and made by the Toronto Silver Plate (SP) Company. The firm was one of the earliest silver companies based in Canada, and was founded in 1882 by James A. This stand features a simple handle and light metal work on the base and feet.

The shakers have metal collars and screw-on caps with hand-drilled holes. The sugar bottle has a flip lid and a very small ornate silver spoon (looks to be sterling but isn't marked). The shakers stand about 4 tall. The screw tops work great and this is fully functioning. This is a special set which will make a statement in any collection.
