ANTIQUE 1880's JAMES TUFTS SILVERPLATED TOOTHPICK HOLDER WITH WILD ROSE PEACHBLOW GLASS. Featuring a Kate Greenaway figure with a handblown peachblow glass insert. The glossy insert graduates from a light pink to a medium dark pink. Opaque glass is square on top and round on the bottom.
Original sticker label for New England Glass Works is intact WOW! Label reads: Wild Rose, NE GW, Pat. Bottom is marked: James W. Tufts, Quadruple Plated, Boston Warranted, #3405, 2I. Measures overall about 4" long x 4-3/4" tall x 2-3/4 wide. Glass holder measures about 1-5/8" square x 2-1/4" tall. Overall, good antique condition with definite signs of age/use. In original condition with natural patina/tarnish/oxidation. No chips or cracks in the glass. Insert does have a small manufacturing defect on the inside. Please examine the pictures carefully as this will be the exact item you receive.
