ANTIQUE PICKLE CASTOR THUMBPRINT CRANBERRY GLASS Stevens Silver Co Maine Stand

I bought this cranberry pickle castor and stand and tongs from antique dealer, Marjorie Marts in Lima, Ohio. Cranberry thumbprint glass, 5 tall, with handpainted flower and leaf design, with gold highlights. Only thing I see is one small area of paint rub, shown in my last photo. Tongs are heavily tarnished with a seashell pattern. Revising to say I used silver polish to remove some of the tarnish so you can see pattern more clearly.

I see no markings on tongs. Partial paper label with cleaning instructions over embossed maker's mark on bottom of stand. STEVENS SILVER CO is legible on bottom of stand.

Was replaced as the Colonial Silver Co. In 1899, so this is pre-1899. They normally quadruple silver plated.
