Dutch Repousse HANDLED Silver Plate CANDY DISH BASKET with Lid & GLASS INSERT

Consider purchasing on this exquisite, elegant, good quality, finely detailed Dutch Repousse handled round Silver Plate CANDY DISH BASKET with LID and GLASS INSERT featuring repousse renderings of Drinking and Farming Figures scene. The round body Candy Dish Basket have scenes and is decorated depicting 18th century rural scenes with farming scenes along with scrolls and phoenix bird.. The scenic lid features the drinking gatherings of four men.. Embossed grapes and grape leaves decorate at the handle.

The ornate Candy Dish Basket sits on 4 decorative feet.. I cannot locate a makers mark. Measurements are: 5.5 Inches top rim diameter by 2.25 inches height exclusive of unmovable handle - handle is 5.25 inches tall.

Light signs of previous use should be expected consistent with age and previous ownership. In good overall condition showing age appropriate wear to the silver plate with patina and tarnish.. Just re-package in its original packaging materials, box and insured (or similar in size).. The items I sell are vintage, antique pieces and have been previously owned - these are not new store bought items... I also do my best to give detailed information on the vintage items.
