This is an impressive 13 tall Victorian era PICKLE CASTOR with a beautiful Cranberry art glass, Polka Dot Insert. The silverplate frame is made by James W. It is decorated with 2 floral rosettes and vines on either side of a central ball, between the base and the bowl holder - a double hoop handle extends from side to side. Tufts / Boston /'T' in a star logo / Warranted / Triple Plate / 2355 Measurements : FRAME - 13" tall, 6.75" wide side to side at the handles, bowl holder - 4.5" wide at the top, about 2.5" wide at the bottom, Foot - 4" wide BOWL/insert/Jar - 3.25" high, 4.5" wide, 2.5" wide foot LID - 4.75" wide, 2.25" high TONGS - 6.75 long.
