New England Glass Cranberry Diamond Optic Pickle Castor/Jam Jar. Up for your consideration is an antique pickle castor or jam or honey jar made by New England Glass Company. The glass insert for this item is made in cranberry glass. It features a diamond optic pattern.

The bottom of the jar features a pointed rosette. The insert is 4 1/2" tall, and measures about 3 1/2" diameter. The frame is marked with Quadruple plate Wilcox Silver Plate Co. The frame stands 10 3/4 tall. The tongs are included with this piece. There is tarnish on the frame and the finial for the lid is missing. The glass insert is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or breaks. Please contact me with any questions you may have. This does not include weekends and holidays.
