Victorian thumbprint/coin dot cranberry glass pickle jar silverplate lid &spoon
The jar itself is in excellent condition - I saw no chips, cracks, scratches, or cloudiness. The lid has some wear on the silver, with one larger spot that may get smaller with more polishing, along with a few pin dot size spots that most likely won't (I did some polish, but not to the point of trying to remove all tarnish/patina). I didn't spend much time on the finial as I like the patina, but it appears to be in very good shape if you prefer the silver more on the shiny side.
It also has a little age related roughness around the bottom edge. The spoon, made by Gilchrist and marked on the back, is not in very good condition. The form is lovely, but it is rough and so you would need to like that look (as I do on some items), have it re-silvered, or potentially replace it.
